Maano comment that the school needs
a teacher who subscribes to pedagogy
of care, taking into consideration the
emotional, physical and social well-
being of learners before successful
teaching and learning takes place.
Lastly, Maano picked a statement that
talk about an ideal teacher who
connects to leaners as human beings,
promoting discussion and interaction.
Fikile Skosana: Skosana and the other
two group members looked at Skosana’s
digital story. She second Maano and
commented that the school does needs an
ideal teacher who is a role model and
subscribe to pedagogy of care, hence she
emphasize inclusion and support learners
academically, socially and emotionally.
Lastly, pointed that the school need a
teacher who is critically conscious of
social background of all learners.
