VeldHuizen Cheese
The Veldhuizen family wanted to see what they could do with a love of land and cows
and a small, family-run dairy. In 2000, the family, including Stuart, his wife Connie and
seven children, started their cheese-making dream. Located in Dublin, Texas, the farm
started with just 20 baby grass-fed calves. They do things the natural way- building soil
health without chemicals or pesticides on their 180-acre farm, growing feed themselves
and keeping the herd free of antibiotics and artificial hormones. Veldhuizen Cheeses
produced 15 kinds of artisan raw milk, hand-crafted cheese.
