Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna, the Global
Ecumenical Forum, an ecumenical initiative
aimed at bringing churches together, and St.
Egidio, a Catholic ecumenical organization
pursuing inter-religious and inter-church
collaboration and conflict resolution; it also
participates in the conferences of several
ecumenical NGO's as well as in regional and
global forums organized by states and aca-
demic institutions. The Armenian Church,
particularly through the participation of
the Holy See of Cilicia, is active in several
bodies and initiatives pertaining to inter-
religious dialogue in general, and Christian-
Muslim dialogue in particular.
Today, the Armenian Church is involved
in the following bilateral theological dia-
logues:
– The Joint Commission of the Theological
Dialogue between the Orthodox and Oriental
Orthodox churches.
– The International Joint Commission for
Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church
and the Oriental Orthodox churches.
– The Anglican-Oriental Orthodox Interna-
tional Commission.
– The International Theological Dialogue be-
tween the Oriental Orthodox family of churches
and World Alliance of Reformed churches.
– Talks between representatives of the Lu-
