MEDIA DEPARTMENT
We are happy to report that all the initial goals have been
achieved. The refreshed website launched in January 2025.
We were able to include 7 new department header pages
that allowed for new designs of 7 departments where their
web pages now mirror the main website home page but
with their own independent colors, logos, photos, buttons
and information which allows them to distribute
department specific information from their department
landing page. The 7 departments included in this upgrade
were Town Clerk, Planning and Community Development,
Health, DPW, COA, HR/Intranet, and Conservation.
spotlight, job openings, new hires/retirements, event
information, and photos from events that happened the
previous month. The Media Department was also asked to
put together a Citizen’s Guide to Town Meeting for both
annual and special town meeting. This guide summarizes
the warrant articles that are presented at town meeting
and we’ve received a lot of great feedback on them.
Many designs have been created and shared on social
media for events like Market Day promotion with Reels
created for local businesses and town promotion, new
playground at the Peirce Playground, Celebrate
Middleborough, voter & election information using the
“Did You Know” initiative, veterans events, master plan
information, MBTA zoning information, Remembrance
Tree project on the town hall, DPW project updates, events
at the Park Department, helping the Animal Shelter with
dog adoptions, weekly MCCAM meeting coverage
announcements, Picone Farm opening, local dedications,
events at the COA, Soule Homestead and Library and many
other department notices to the public.
A special thank you to Allyson Foye for her assistance with
this 2024 Annual Town Report. Allyson is a Junior at Curry
College studying Design & Marketing and has been
interning with the Town for the 2021-2024 Annual Town
Report projects.
Working with Civic Plus we were also able to launch a new
mobile app at the same time to make access to the website

information more user friendly from mobile devices.
We were able to put together and have 3 years of missing

Director of Media Technology
Special Town Meeting in October.
We had a few projects that came up that weren’t initially
part of the goals for the new media department. One of
those new projects is the creation of a monthly newsletter.
These newsletters highlight information coming from the
Town Manager’s ofice, community updates, employee
