Soror Jacinta A. Hall

Jacinta Hall hails from Jackson, MS, where she graduated from Murrah High
School and the APAC (Academic and Performing Arts Complex) program. Jacinta
then earned a B.A. from the University of Mississippi in Music and Psychology.
While there, Jacinta was initiated into the Theta Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. in the fall of 2001. Jacinta went on to earn a
Juris Doctor in 2005. Her legal career began as a clerk to current Mississippi
Supreme Court Justice Leslie King when he was the Chief Judge of the
Mississippi Court of Appeals. Jacinta then transitioned to the Hinds County
Public Defender’s Office, where she remained until October, 2013. While with
Hinds County, Jacinta served as the Intern Coordinator and as a lead trial
attorney. Jacinta was a former board member and Vice-President of the .
Mississippi Public Defender’s Office, and is a graduate of Gideon’s Promise,
formerly the Southern Public Defender’s Training Center. Currently, Jacinta is
an Assistant Public Defender with the Law Office of the Shelby County Public
Defender, Memphis, TN. In her spare time, Jacinta loves playing the piano,
reading, watching football, and spending time with her family.

Soror Angela R. Hilson

Soror Angela R. Hilson is the owner of AHilson, Incorporated and has
been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® for
twenty years. She is a visually impaired teacher and her business
provides these services to school districts. She also co-owns a trucking
business with her husband which provides dump truck and excavation
services to projects throughout Shelby County. She holds a Bachelor and
two Masters degrees in Education, one in Curriculum Design and the
other in Visually Limited/Blind Education. She is a mother of two
awesome children, Kolby(15) and Kyra(10). She enjoys scrapbooking
and creating custom apparel designs. Graphic design and writing are
also passions and side business pursuits. Soror Angela is an avid reader.
She enjoys supporting her son’s basketball and her daughter’s
majorette events.
