What is a Myth? 07
Ancient people were curious about the world. They didn’t
understand natural events such as thunder, droughts and floods.
At that time, science wasn’t developed. In Greek thought, gods
caused all the natural events. For example, lighting and thunder
happened because of Zeus. And people fell in love because of the
goddess of love, Aphrodite. We call these imaginary stories of
ancient times ‘myths.’
Tell me about it.
