There are many reasons to write LETTERS: to thank someone, to persuade,
to complain, or to keep in touch when someone is away. Sometimes, writing
a letter is better than calling or emailing. A LETTER has these parts:
• Heading – your address & the date
• Greeting – Dear ...,

• Closing & Signature – Sincerely, ...
