Material: Unit length card activity sheet
Let’s predict the appropriate unit for measuring length in everyday life.
Measure- 1. Shuffle the unit length cards and stack them with the colored sides facing up.
ment Kit 2. Select one card and read the sentence. Predict the appropriate unit of length
that goes in the blank and put a hand up to say the answer.
3. The player who puts his/her hand up first takes a chance to say the answer and
checks the answer at the back of the card without showing it to the other player.
4. Show the answer to the other player and take the card if he/she answered correctly
or place it back into the stack if he/she answered incorrectly and the other player
takes a turn.
5. Set the card aside if both players say the wrong answers.
6. Repeat steps 2-4 until there is no card to take.
7. The player who collects more cards wins.
