B WRITING A PICTURE BOOK
PICTURE BOOKS are fun! It is interesting to see drawings of characters,
places, and events that we read about. However, picture books usually tell
a story with very few words. Much of the story is told with pictures. They
have all the same parts as regular books and stories:
• Characters
• Setting
• Plot (Main Events)
WARM UP Write one interesting sentence that might go with this picture.
