Beautiful Place by Brian Solomon

I hike in these mountains not always to fish nor am I ever bored,
but so I can look towards the heavens and talk to the Lord.

Life isn't always the way we plan it out to be,
but His word says, what time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

It's the broken promises and the heartaches from our past,
that traps so many of us into feeling we're the outcast.

With no answers to all the questions we ask,
sometimes we fall short to the challenge of change, because we think it
will be too great of a task.

Then we surrender all to His mercy and saving grace,
He will guide our footsteps and give us a warm embrace.

We can finally say we've won the race,
and lift up our hands and praise His holy name for peace within this Beautiful Place.
