In our lifetime, we will all experience a journey of seasons. There are times we are on the
highest mountain and times we are in our lowest valleys. Likewise, in nature, seasons are just
temporary: winter, spring, summer and fall. There are times of peace, happiness, and at times
sorrow. All of us will go through these. Take note: while in these seasons, we must press
forward to get a clear understanding and reap the harvest of what the season trying to tell us.
Every season gives us an opportunity to learn, grow and mature. If we stayed in the same season, with no change,
there would be no growth. We would just stay the same. And we must grow to reach our highest potential that God
has for our lives. To look further into this perspective, if there was no sorrow, how could we experience joy? Please
know that God can and will bring out the very best in every season of your life, good or bad. God constructs every
season in its time for His purpose and for what He wants you to see and become. Sometimes He puts folks in your
life for a specific purpose and a reason, but only for a short season. If that is the case, don’t pour out your heart into
these temporary seasonal relationships. Learn to discern why they are there and placed in your path. Not everyone
brought into your life from the beginning was meant to be there until the finish. They were brought to you to fulfill
a significant purpose for that particular time, for that precise season. When it’s time for your season to change, be on
the look-out for the signs. The vision will be clear. Typically, you will be able to discern the inadequacies that will
clarify it to your spirit……it’s time to move on. Watch carefully.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NLT) A Time for Everything
3 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A

time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. A

time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather

stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep

and a time to throw away. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. A time to love

and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.
Likewise, even nature has hidden lessons of seasons. Nature is unpredictable and is constantly changing. She is
never still. So, let’s learn from nature’s seasons and take a lesson from her. There are four seasons to a year: winter,
spring, summer and fall. Each season is interconnected and they flow right into one another. With this being said,
each season influences and has an effect one another. And, their characteristics individually can prompt significant
changes in the environment.
• Winter. We know the season and it is imminent, so get ready for it. The same theory should apply to our lives.
• Spring is a time of new–birth after sometimes a long, cold winter. Thus, a time for change, knowledge & growth.
• Summer is when Mother-Nature produces her crop. It is our purpose that awaits us; new direction and strength.
• Fall is the time when nature begins to change and strengthen. We should also plan for our next stage in life.
God is the Creator of both the natural seasons in life as well as the supernatural seasons in life. If you look to
Him in question of your season; He will answer.
Psalm 1:3 (NLT)
3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.
