Social Media Musings – Part III My Reflections on the Practice and Life
not to listen to understand. If you want to develop deep, meaningful relationships, listen carefully, completely and wholly.
At some point, we will ease out of this pandemic and return to normal, or at least to a new normal. Our clients, our colleagues and our contacts will remember how we treated them during the pandemic. Let’s all make sure they will have pleasant memories.
One positive comment from you to another can change their day for the better. Change lives today.
Doing the small things well will result in doing the big things well. Cutting corners on the small things will lead to bad results with the big things.
The relationship precedes the referral.

or someone we value, love, cherish, and live for, and we love talking about that person
or thing to others. If we want others to hear about what matters to us, we have to listen to them when they talk about what matters to them.
Listen to others and remember what they say. That’s the key to relationships.
Surround yourself with people who do, not talk.
Don’t wait to be asked. Ask.
Good listeners are the best leaders.
