Social Media Musings – Part III My Reflections on the Practice and Life
In light of the Coronavirus, if you’re a voluntary bar association, be prepared for:
◗ Attendees not attending your events. In fact, having your events canceled.
◗ Moving from in person to online CLE.
◗ New revenue streams to offset the loss of revenue due to canceled events or events with lower turnout.
If you’re a voluntary bar association, sponsor Zoom meetings where your members can discuss what they’re doing and how they’re responding to the Coronavirus.
With the Coronavirus, your firm should be thinking of the following:
◗ Attending depositions, hearings and meetings by phone.
◗ Ensuring you have the tech to facilitate remote access and working from home.

For those picking up take out in this Coronavirus situation we find ourselves in, tip generously. Tip based employees are hurting.
Keep your lines of communications open with other law firms to share information, tips and advice on how firms can respond to Coronavirus.
The Coronavirus response is rapidly evolving. More and more law firms are working remotely and more and more schools and venues are closing. Have someone at your firm tasked with keeping up with the ever changing rules and protocols affecting us all and respond accordingly.
With all the upheaval caused by Coronavirus, if you’re a law firm leader, don’t overlook the stress and anxiety your team is undergoing. Part of your response plan should address that concern. Listen to their needs and respond appropriately. Yes, we are running a business. Yes, we need to keep the lights on. But we can’t overlook our team and their needs and their fears.
In times like these, clients are looking for
