3X3 GROUNDSWELL FESTIVAL
The 2020 3x3 Streetball State Championships once again took place alongside the Groundswell Festival. A 2-day youth festival that brings different sporting codes together including Surfing, BMX and skating to showcase urban street culture.
2020 proved to be the biggest and most successful 3x3 Championships to be held at Scarborough Beach, with a 37% increase in team registrations from 2019.
Female participation in this event more than doubled and the introduction of the U20’s category proved popular with the men.
