PARTICIPATION AWARD 2022
NAIDOC CARNIVAL - GALA AWARD RECIPIENT
KIBA – Kalgoorlie Indigenous Basketball Academy (KIBA), received the Participation award at the 2022 BWA awards. This was a huge honour for the program and the Kalgoorlie Basketball Association. This is a recognition for the hard work and dedication that has been put in by a number of people involved over the last 2 years, this program was founded by Danielle Champion in 2021 and over the last two years have a number of coaches help run training sessions each week. These sessions have been held every Wednesday throughout winter where children were provided training sessions with some of the local NBL 1 Giants, Men and Women players.

7 SIDES ATTENDED NAIDOC
KIBA attend their second NAIDOC Carnival in July, where 7 sides attended and participated in the carnival.
