March 2025 NEWFOUNDLAKELIFE.COM Page 9 Community Bristol Town Elections - Ballot Voting - Tuesday, March 11th
This day is for voting for Can- didates for Office and Zoning Amendments.
Proposed Zoning Amend- ments - For the 2025 Ballot, Articles 2-8 are the proposed Zoning Amendments. Zoning amendments are presented to voters, on a yearly basis, to amend the Town's existing Zoning Ordi- nance. Changes can be related to errors in the Ordinance that need to be corrected, improvements
to the Ordinance, law changes in the preceding years or based upon review of applications and processes throughout the year by the Planning Board. The Plan- ning Board prepares the changes, holds public hearings, and then submits for voters to consider on the ballot. For more informa- tion on the changes, please visit the Planning Board page - 2025 Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments.
The Ballot language for Zon- ing Amendments is different then the actual amendment - the bal- lot language once available, will be posted.
Please refer to both the ballot language and the Zoning Ordi- nance Amendments document to make sure you understand the proposed changes. And as al- ways, should you have any ques- tions regarding this intent of the amendments, please reach out
to the Land Use Office and they would be happy to assist you.
