Budget Blinds Donates to Vets Rest Stop in Woodstock
As we revisit last month's use of Abbott and Costello's baseball meaphor in our true story (Who's on First), we are pleased to report that appar- ently Juan's troubling story has a happy ending. He has, as

tudes of other instinctive survival and perpetuation genetics in all of our woodland creatures, bugs, plants and birds. And He guides us on paths to finding our best way in this wonderful life. An in- ternal compass that connects us to our creator.
While adventuring on our woods hikes and wanderings we may occasionally happen upon a baby four-legged critter or newly hatched fledgling bird. Oh how cute! Is our first response but please take great care to leave it in its finding place. Many of these little critters are left intentionally by Mom while she scurries off to get a quick bite for her and bring back some take out for the littles.

And they may have just wandered a few feet from where Mom left them. They are fine and better left as is. A case in point is deer will rear their fawns in secluded spots and leave them sleeping while they go off to feed and then come back and nurse them.
They are scentless in the birth year so the predators are not able to locate them. As the fawn gets older it may wander onto a trail or your backyard being inquisi- tive. But keep your distance and let Mom come back to corral the yearling. If the sighting persists give NHF&G a call and let them make the next decision. These lit- tle critters are not to be pets and they need their wildness to survive in the best way God intended for them.
We’ll see you out on the trails!
At Budget Blinds of Con- cord, Hanover, and Central NH, we’re proud to support our community, especially those who have served our country. We recently donated and in- stalled custom blinds and shades at the Vets Rest Stop in Wood- stock, NH, a facility under con- struction that will soon provide transitional housing and vital support for local veterans.
While several buildings are still being completed, our team installed window treatments in finished areas to help create a space that’s comfortable, en- ergy-efficient, and welcoming. These small touches will make a big difference for veterans and their families as they begin their journey toward healing and sta- bility
Supporting meaningful proj- ects like this is part of who we are. When you choose Budget Blinds, you're choosing a local
business that’s committed to giving back — one window at a time.
