Mid-State Health Center and Littleton Regional Healthcare Expand Access to Specialty Services
Community
Plymouth– Mid-State Health Center and Littleton Regional Healthcare are pleased to an- nounce an expansion of their clinical collaboration that will bring additional high-quality specialty services to the Central New Hampshire region.
As part of Mid-State’s Visiting Specialist Program, board-cer- tified specialty providers from Littleton Regional Healthcare will provide residents of the re- gion access to specialty medical services closer to home. Services will be provided at the Mid-State Plymouth location, 101 Boulder Point Drive, Suite 1, and include
Otolaryngology, General Sur- gery, Allergy Medicine, Ortho- paedics, Sports Medicine, and Facial Plastics.
Robert MacLeod, Chief Ex- ecutive Officer of Mid-State Health Center, says “Living in a rural community, accessing spe- cialty services can be challenging, creating barriers for patients to receive the care they need. This expanded collaboration will help ensure the residents of our com- munity have access to the services they need to live healthier lives.”
Robert Nutter, President and Chief Executive Officer of Littleton Regional Healthcare,
noted, “These cooperative efforts with Mid-State Health Center support our mission to provide quality, accessible healthcare. Our board-certified specialty providers are eager to serve the greater Plymouth area through Mid-State’s Visiting Specialist Program.”
Visiting Specialist appoint- ments can be scheduled directly with the specialist’s office. To learn more about the Visiting Specialist Program, services of- fered, and scheduling, please visit www.midstatehealth.org/ service/VSP.
