The Minot-Sleeper Library and Friends of the Minot-Sleeper Library host the Life-Sized Candy Land kick-off event on Monday, February 28th from 6-8pm at the library in the meeting room.
Attendees will have the chance to play the life-size Candy Land game and move as game pieces through the room making their way to Candy Castle. In addition, families may take pictures with characters from the game, including Queen Frostine, King Kandy and Miss Mint. The Friends of the Library will be selling Family Book Boxes at the event as a fundraiser. Each box will contain children's books, and keepsake prizes for $5. The game will be hosted and remain for families to play and enjoy through March 5th.
The event is free and open to the public with generous support from the Friends of the Minot-Sleeper Library.

Mondays at the Hebron Library Knitters Club, 2 to 4 pm
Bring your knitting or any portable craft project to the library and craft away in the company of friends. Support each others' creations and build community. All levels of expertise are welcome.

Our market season runs the first Saturday of the month through May from 9 a.m. to noon. Two changes this season - the time! and we're going an extra month with our in person market.

Newfound Lake Inn's Winterfest
The fun-filled event will begin at 11 AM and run until dark at the Newfound Lake Inn. Ice sculptures with a full-service carved-out ice bar, a heated covered tent with food and drinks, raffles, and ice skating. In addition, there were all kinds of events for kids like games, scavenger hunts, and snowman building! Drive your snowmobiles down to the beach, and en- joy a nice fire on the beach as well.

The event is on Webster lake and held in conjunction with the Franklin Outing Club. Every Youth will also receive a free TIP UP and the first 100 Youth registered will have a free registration. Pre-sold tickets will be entered for door prizes. Prizes must be claimed at the derby. Food will be sold at the base location on Griffin Beach. There will also be 50/50 tickets and additional raffles for special items. All tickets pur- chased during the Derby, MUST be made out completely at the time of the purchase within Derby Headquarter (Griffin Beach)

The Ladies Ride is a 1 to 2-hour trail ride on Baker River trails and surrounding club systems. The ride caters to all skill levels by splitting into multiple groups, allowing each group to travel at an appropriate pace for the riders in it. That means be- ginners feel comfortable at a slower pace, and you ladies who want to haul will have some fun too.
This event is free and open to the pub- lic, but we will have shirts and other items available for purchase. These items will be available by presale soon, so check back.
