confusion. It was a ferocity of unnatural proportions. Our immediate area
became an atmosphere of oil contamination. It was, in a word, gross
contamination. Yet Delta Company continued baring its teeth, traversing
north through the oil fire onslaught, following the leadership of the greatest
Commanders of all time, Captain Roger “Rock” Pollard, 1stLt Scott Williams,
1Sgt Alfonso Villa, and GySgt Steven Dell.

It was as though the Devil
