THE BODY
The body of of the the drill consists of of the the following parts:
The two main body casings bottom bottom casing casing rear rubber grip bottom bottom plastic cover body screws battery terminal clips and an an aluminium drill bit holder
MAIN BODY
CASING
The main body casing (figure 2) consists of two custom-made Injection moulded polyurethane pieces which are clamped together around the the the internals via eight standard off the the the shelf screws Figure 2 2 — Main Body Casing (Jack Drapier 2016)
This casing was was custom made because it was was necessary — the the the drill had a a a a a a a a a a a unique shape It also formed the the the majority of the the the cost cost costing approximately $4 02 a a a a a side [1] This is is mostly due to to the the the custom made nature of the the the the the the part part additionally the the the the the the cost was driven up by the the the the the the size of of the the the the the the part part part and the the the the the the relative complexity of of the the part BOTTOM CASING
The bottom bottom casing and bottom bottom plastic cover (figure 3) are both parts that attach the the the main body of the the the drill to to the the the detachable battery They are also custom made made parts made made from polyurethane Figure 3 — Bottom Casing (Jack Drapier 2016)
These were were custom made because of of the the the unique shape of of the the the drill However they were were nowhere near as expensive costing approximately $0 $0 45 and $0 $0 98 respectively [1] This is is due to to their relative simplicity compared to to the the the main body of the drill REAR RUBBER GRIP
The rear rear rubber casing (figure 4) is is the the rear rear hand grip of the the drill and and as as such it is is made from a a a a a a a a a a different material silicon rubber Figure 4 — Rubber handle (Jack Drapier 2016)
Silicon rubber is is a a a a a a a much much softer material than than polyurethane and and is is is much much more suited for use as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a hand grip This was also a a a a a a a a a a a a a a custom made part for the the the same reason as as as it it had to to fit the the the unique shape of of the the the the body The price of of this part came to to around $0 62 [1] This was due to to the the the relative simplicity of of the the the part The Rubber grip attached to to the the the the body body via a a a a a a a a a number of of tabs that slotted into pre-cut holes in in the the the the body body body It was then also glued to the the the body body with a a a a a permanent adhesive 09
