Steps:
• Have everyone sit down with their teams to identify paradigms in their workplace of which they have been unaware.
• Bring teams back into total groups and ask that they share what they have learned about teams.
Safety:
• Be very serious about safety. Ask anyone who has any concerns (i.e. back, legs, balance) to be “guardians” and observers rather than team members. As guardians, they may interfere with and correct any team that is becoming unsafe (stretching too far, leaping, pulling, etc.) As observers, they should note items of interest to bring up later.
• As the facilitator, you should be “all eyes,” noting and stopping anything that looks unsafe. If a team is taking risks, position yourself close enough that you can assist physically if needed.
