PURPOSE
To identify the desired outcomes for the meeting.
DESCRIPTION
Participants share their desired outcomes and the group creates the agenda around those desired outcomes.
PARTICIPANTS
8-15 or break larger group into teams of 8
TIME 15 minutes
SUPPLIES flipchart and markers, pens and paper
Steps:
• Using paper and pen, everyone privately lists the key outcomes they desire. (5 minutes).
• Go around the group. Each person should share one or two concepts. Discussion should be limited to questions to understand or clarify.
(5 minutes). Have a general discussion and consensus to determine the two most important outcomes.
• If larger than one small team, each small group presents their outcomes to the total group and they are put on a flipchart. A general discussion is then held.
