FEATURE PET: Lily

My name is Lily, and I belong to Maria Winkler and David Komar, who are both artists. I
am an eleven-year old, seven-pound Yorkshire Terrier. I had a brother, Monet, but he
passed away a year and half ago. Everyone
wants to know if I miss him, but to tell you
the truth, it’s nice being an only dog and
getting undivided attention and ALL the
treats. Besides, being the alpha male, Monet
picked on me sometimes and moved me out
of the way when I was enjoying a nice nap in
Maria’s lap. I’ve had my medical issues but
am in basically good health and enjoying my
time here. When Maria and David go on a
trip, I get to go to my breeder, Melinda, who
loves me. I get to play with her dog Lady,
and her granddaughter Emile, who considers
me her best friend! Maria started doing pet portraits and I was happy to pose for her.
I was her first dog portrait. Don’t I look nice? Oh yes, and David is the one who
gives me lots of treats!
