CRI Group
The CRI group webpage now includes information about the measures
that will appear on the November ballot:

interest and information about future meetings. Our next meeting will be election? What is the essential “brand” of each of the parties?

Club Crafters
Current information indicates that The Retreat is not
going to open this year. Given that, we have been
forced to use Zoom like every other SIG. Thus,
Crafters meet online every Tuesday chatting and
continuing to work on our projects. Whether you knit, If you want to sign up to receive email notifications, goto YOUR
crochet, color, draw, paint, do needlework, card or
jewelry making, it’s a good time to complete those
unfinished projects.
We continue to make items for Sacramento Blankets for Sacramento
Kids, Sacramento Shriners Hospital, and California Chapter of Afghans
for Angels. If you have craft items to donate, crafters are happy take

Club Trekkers
Even though Placer County had entered into Stage 3, it is now
regressing, and the Club Trekkers are not planning hikes unless the
guidance changes. The State’s current guidance is for over 65 aged
individuals to continue to stay home until Stage 4 on the State’s
Resilience Roadmap. If guidance changes during, emails will be sent out our desire to make the best of it. The most important thing is for us to

Club Veterans
Once again we must sadly report that this months Vet’s meeting will be
cancelled due to the mandated closures of the club to prevent the
spreading of this dreaded virus. When we hear otherwise the group will
be called to order once again.

Club at WestPark Democrats
Our monthly Zoom meeting on August 5th at 7:00 p.m. will be devoted
to open discussion of “Hot Topics”: How do racism and politics
converge? The effect of the virus on the election? Can Trump cancel the

Digital World Club
DWC (Digital World Club) will meet on Monday, August 3rd via Zoom
at 1 pm. Our topic, as presented by Rick Koehler, will be in two parts.
(1) Email security/Password manager
(2) Windows 10 workshop - navigating the desktop and settings

Helping Hands 2.0
Well, here we go again! We just received notice of
Roseville shutting down again! So, forget your nails
and haircuts, and no gym or pool or mall shopping for
the next several weeks. BUT, we can all do this and
if ALL of us make sure to follow the guidelines
(masks, social distancing, washing hands, and staying
home as much as possible,) we will be on our way to opening again. In
the meantime, there are still Zoom Meetings, Zoom Classes, Netflix and
Helping Hands is always here for you. Although right now we cannot
deliver meals to you, or run errands, we can still send cards. Please let
us know if you or someone you know is ill, had surgery, or has lost a
loved one and we will get a card out right away. Please email

It will be great when we can all get together again!
