TYING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using a single cord end, tie a modified pan
chang knot with a hollow center. Start from the
right side of the left “teardrop”and weave the
long side of the modified pan chang knot in an
anticlockwise direction. Leave the rest of the cord
or use it to tie the inner side of the knot.Take
another cord and, starting with the left side of the
right “teardrop,”weave the other long side of the
modified pan chang knot in a clockwise direction.
Use the rest of the cord to tie the outer side of
the knot.
2.Take another cord and tie the inner circle of the
knot. This saves time and avoids getting the cord
sections mixed up.
3. Make the necklace loop with two new cords.
Tie a double connection knot to join the cords.
Then, using one cord as the axis, twist the other
cord around it to make the loop thicker. At a suit-
able point along the cord, tie a series of double
connection knots. Alternate the cords as axis and
repeat the process. Finally, tie a button knot.
