NEW THIS FALL
Sheila Corneil
What’s new this Fall?
We hope that you have all had a wonderful and restful summer. Although September is upon us hopefully there are still plenty of warm days ahead and opportunities for outdoor activities. For many people this time of year represents a fresh start; kids go back to school and life once again falls back into the routines we gratefully take a break from in the summer. With that in mind September is the perfect time to dive back into your fitness regime. Stop by the gym to register for a new season, book an assessment, hire a trainer or try a class. I would like to take this opportunity to thank every Member who has made my time here at the RCYC such a wonderful experience. I have grown so much personally and professionally in this role and am grateful to have had the opportunity to manage the Fitness Department for nearly five years. I can tell you that in almost three decades as a fitness professional I have never worked with such a caring and passionate team of instructors and trainers. I hope if you have not yet connected with your Fitness Department that this will be your year.
I believe that physical fitness is your body’s ability to do what you ask it to do. So, don’t be afraid to ask it to do more and then rise to the challenge because if you stop moving, you’ll stop moving in every aspect of life. So as I move on to my next challenge I wish you all a long, happy, healthy life full of all things that inspire you.
