29th TORONTO EASTER SEALS REGATTA
SUNDAY, AUGUST 19, 2018 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Remember the feeling of amazement as the wind filled the sails and the boat surged through the water on your very first sail? We invite you to share the pleasures of boating with an Easter Seals family at the 29th Toronto Easter Seals Regatta hosted by the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC). In its 28 year history, this event has raised $4.7 million to benefit Easter Seals kids. The event involves skippers from the GTA and surrounding area boating community collecting donations and boat sponsorships in support of children with physical disabilities.
How to get Involved:
1. Register your boat as a cruiser to host an Easter Seals family for a great day on the water. Cruising scavenger hunt starts at 12:00 noon. Assistance will be provided to lift children on and off your boat. Registration fee is optional, cruisers are encouraged to fundraise!
2. Join the post-party at RCYC for a BBQ lunch beginning at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are available on the day of the event for $15 each or 4 tickets for $50.
Since 1922, with the help of our generous donors, Easter Seals has been offering programs and services that enable kids to experience freedom and independence and focus on what they can do, not on their limitations.
