Although the Ideal 18s are tucked away for the winter, the fleet executive is planning for an exciting sailing experience next season. Read on for updates and expect more issues in the coming months.

Our inaugural Ideal 18 banquet on the island was held in September with a great turn out. The party was a fantastic success thanks to the dedicated group of volunteers that organized everything. With a “Taste of India” theme and an extensive silent auction full of donations from friends of the fleet. The funds raised will be used directly for the Ideal 18 fleet in the year ahead. Thank you to all that donated and participated in this event. The prizes were spectacular and we hope that any of you that missed out will be able to attend this year!

Other News
Survey: We are creating a survey for all Ideal 18 sailors to assist us in developing an even better program for our fleet. Keep an eye out for an Ideal 18 survey coming soon!
Gear: The fleet will be offering regalia for sale this year. Among the items available are hats, t-shirts, sweaters and foul weather jackets. Order forms were sent out in early February. Please contact Michele Clemo for more information.
Volunteering Opportunities
