Holidays are always celebrated no matter religion, beliefs,a or culture around the world.
Some are recognized more than others like are Halloween and Thanksgiving. These holidays
may seem vastly different, as they are two completely separate occasions, but in actuality
they do share very similar attributes.
I. Customs

1. In both celebrations the whole family gathers to spend a pleasant moment

1. The traditional Halloween meal in The United States is pumpkin pie,
cookies shaped like pumpkins, ghosts or skulls, candy, cakes made like a
graveyard
2. The traditional Thanksgiving meal in Europe is a turkey, sweet potatoes,
corn, and pumpkin pie.
