WIGGLE TEST The wiggle test indicates the presence of intermittents in a PROCEDURE NOTE When diagnosing electronic control module (ECM) connec- tions, use a BREAKOUT BOX (Part No. HD-43876) to simplify the procedure. See 5.7 BREAKOUT BOX: EFI. See Figure 5-12. Connect digital volt/ohmmeter (DVOM) to wiring harness between the suspect connections. Set DVOM to read voltage changes. Start motorcycle engine and run at idle. Shake or wiggle harness to detect intermittents. If inter- mittents are present, radical voltage changes will register on the DVOM. 2006 Softail: Engine Management (EFI)
