NO Reconnect. NO Check Terminal A (Y/GN wire) on injector connector to ground. Voltage equivalent to battery voltage for 2 seconds after key ON? NO Check for 12 volts at terminal 87 of sys- tem relay during first 2 seconds after key ON. Correct voltage present? NO STOP Go to Test 5.23 (Part 3 of 3).

YES STOP Go to Test 5.23 (Part 2 of 3). YES System relay OK. Measure resistance between terminal 87 of system relay and Terminal A (Y/GN wire) at injector connector. Resistance less than 0.5 ohm? NO Find and repair bad connection or open wire.
Is wire bail on connector securely attached to the fuel injector? Measure resistance of suspect injector across Resistance

injector terminals.

Test 5.23 (Part 1 of 3) YES See Figure 5-45. Using Fuel Injector Test Lamp, crank engine. Does lamp flash? YES Recheck connections. Perform 5.8 WIGGLE TEST to check for intermittents. Intermittents present? YES Repair intermittent. YES Check for loose or corroded terminals in harness. See lamp.
