Rhythm/Rhyme: “Rain Rain”
• MM and MF perform rhyme patting the beat
• “What was I patting?” (the steady beat)
• Everyone joins in, patting the steady beat on their head
• MM Changes from patting the steady beat to patting the rhythm
• “What was I patting that time?” (the rhythm)
• Everyone speaks rhyme patting the rhythm
• Try different body motions to play the rhythm
• MF suggests “crisscross”, “tap our nose”, “flap our wings”, “march”
