Pitch: High & Low

• “Snail, Snail” has high & low pitches in melody
• Sing the first part of “Snail, Snail” showing high & low on head & shoulders
• Listen to the melody of “Bereleh” and notice how it’s different from “Snail, Snail”
• MM sings either “Snail, Snail” or “Bereleh” on “loo” and S guess which song MM is
singing

Teacher Led Activity

Listen for high & low notes and play guessing game of 2 different melodies

• “The speed of the beat is called ?” (tempo)
• Largo – a very slow tempo
• Listen to the largo beat on the drum, alternate hands and pat lap & drum with MM
• Allegro – fast tempo
• Play and allegro tempo
