Rhythm/Rhyme: “Queen Caroline”
                   •  MM & MF review rhyme
                   •  Repeat rhyme, patting the steady beat
                   •  Everyone continues to pat the beat while MM claps the rhythm
                   •  “What did MM clap while S played the beat?” (the rhythm)
                   •  Speak rhyme again clapping the rhythm of the words
                   •  MF split up to pat the beat & clap the rhythm
                   •  MF switch parts, S pick their favorite part

                              Divide class for the steady beat & rhythm of the words and practice

                                     “By’m Bye”
                   •  MM hums “By’m Bye” and asks S to recognize the melody
                   •  Everyone sings the lullaby and counts the stars
                   •  Sing again, adding the shakers to count & shake to the number of stars
                   •  Shakers are percussion instruments
