“Looby Loo”
• MF performs song:

“Here we go looby loo, here we go looby light
Here we go looby loo, all on a Saturday night.

I put my left hand in, I put my left hand out
I give my left hand a shake shake shake
And I turn myself around”

• All S join in and sing song again
• “What did we put in first?” (left hand)
• Repeat, adding right hand, left foot, right foot

• “When we were patting during ‘Peas Porridge Hot,’ we were keeping the ?

• Practice keeping the steady beat with different instruments: rhythm sticks &
shakers
• Repeat rhyme, alternating between rhythm sticks, drum, & shakers, in order of the
pictures
• MM selects a MF to be the “composer”, to switch the order of instruments
