On a visit to the site during piling
we were asked to take a photo of
these piles that had been stored
on the edge of the mat, on just a
2 inch wooden strips.
The H&S officer from piling plant
operators was amazed that
despite the heavy weight of the
stacked piles the mat was
unmarked and no shearing at the
edge of the mat had occurred.
