COMPANY VEHICLE USAGE
Company vehicles are provided for use by employees while conducting company business.
These vehicles are the property of Molzen Corbin and are provided to employees for
business use only. Any other use is prohibited unless authorized in advance by an Officer
of the Company.
A. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle to be
operated and keep the license(s) with them at all times while driving.
2. Company vehicles are to be driven by authorized employees ONLY. Family
members and other individuals are not authorized to drive the Company
vehicle unless specifically authorized by an Officer of the Company.
3. Any employee who must use a Company vehicle and has a driver’s license
revoked or suspended shall discontinue operation of a Company vehicle, and
immediately notify the Department Supervisor and the Human Resources
Department of the revocation/suspension. Failure to comply with this
subsection may result in disciplinary action, up to and including possible
termination.
4. All accidents involving Company vehicles, regardless of severity, must be
reported to the police and to the Chief Administrative Officer or the Human
Resources Department. Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and/or
failure to report an accident may result in disciplinary action, up to and
including possible termination.
5. Driving a Company vehicle while impaired even to the slightest degree by
any substance, whether prescribed or not, is strictly prohibited and is
sufficient cause for discipline, up to and including possible termination.
6. All drivers and passengers operating or riding in Company vehicles must
wear seat belts, even if air bags are available.
7. For those employees who must drive a Company vehicle, Motor Vehicle
Records (MVRs) may be ordered periodically to assess driving records. An
unfavorable record will result in the loss of Company
