Refugio City Water & Building Clerk [Patty] can be called to determine if a said property is in a
flood plain zone, and to determine if said property is in the city limits or not. She can be

**No Permit required for repairs and reconstruction.**{I.e. roofing, remodeling, siding, inside
& out}
**Permit is required For New housing or additions** to existing structures. The Building
Permit fee for a replacement home will be $5.00 for the first $1,000.00 + $1.00 fee for each
additional $1,000.00.
New Housing Note: See attached documents pertaining to flood mitigation.
If Fencing is new, it will require a permit, however, if an existing fence is just being repaired, no
permit will be required.
Moving Permit Fee is $25.00 (for mobile home) If mobile home is being replaced with another
mobile home or home, a copy of the blueprint and the value of the replacement home will be
needed at that time.
