Which one thing do you wish you had done differently?
That's certainly an interesting question! I pondered over it
for a time and realized that I haven't any regrets regarding
my involvement with Eta Sigma Gamma and don't believe
             I would change anything.

Whom were you most influenced by professionally?
             How/Why?

I simply can't provide one name because I was influenced
by so many individuals in so many different ways. Just a
couple of examples: Dr. James F. McKenzie is the person
I consider to be my early professional writing mentor due
to the fact that he invited me to co-author a paper that
became my first professional health education publication
(a case study in a book by Helen Cleary). Dr. Mo Torabi
and Dr. William Yarber both taught me that, even though
we may extremely busy as professors and researchers, "we
are here for the students." I always tried to remember that
and I was committed to being in my office every day with
my door open as much as possible.
What challenges do you think ESG as an organization
will face in the next decade?

At the National organization level, I believe that ESG will
continue to face the challenge of retaining student members
once they transition to employees in a variety of health
education settings. Because Eta Sigma Gamma has always
been tied in to the academic setting, it is difficult to retain
members once student members leave the academic setting
             for other health education settings.

What challenges do you think Gammans as health
education professionals will be dealing with in the next
             decade?

Given the current political climate, I fear there will be
ample problems and challenges for health educators to
tackle in the next several years and many of those
challenges will have to do with affordable health care (the
             lack of).

What five words best describe you?

Active, Energetic, Hardworking, Reliable, and Short!
