At Windsor Middle School, we’re not just preparing our students for high school, we’re providing opportunities and experiences that are shaping their character and their interests. Our building is a landmark in the community; generations
of families have passed through our halls. Strong traditions at Windsor Middle School are balanced with state-of-the-art and cutting-edge technology that sparks creativity and critical thinking and instills a love of learning in our students.
CORE & MORE
Excellent and experienced teachers help our students gain critical skills through highly individualized instruction as well as unique opportunities for students to apply what they are learning. From coding and media production to producing projects on our 3D printers, students bring their learning to life. And that’s just in the classroom. Outside of it, our students are exploring the world, applying their Spanish language skills, and learning about different cultures. Students are also regularly recognized for their work—several achieved top honors in the 2016 Great Women in Engineering and Science essay contest, the Optimist Oratorical competition, and more.
ATHLETICS, ARTS, & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs and athletic teams, including basketball, cross-country, football, swimming, track, volleyball, and wrestling. Off the eld, seven Windsor Middle School students earned spots in the highly competitive Colorado Middle School All-State Choirs in 2016. And choir is just one of the ways that students can grow their artistic talents at Windsor Middle School. We also offer orchestra and band, as well as visual and performing arts classes and activities such as Student Council, Action Task Force, and Robotics Team.
