Beach’s Bench Talk
Good afternoon and
welcome, for what is
officially my first home in
charge at the Lancer
Scott Stadium. I would
like to thank the
committee for the warm
welcome and the players
for their positive response
to my new management
team in the 1 2 weeks of
st
training and last week’s
FA vase victory at
Brislington. I have
brought with me Jim
Williams, an FA qualified
coach who was my
assistant during my 4
years as manager of
Cribbs Fc, and Ryan Perrot who until recently managed Parson St. Old
Boys for 8 years, in the Premier division of the Bristol Suburban
League.
We’ve managed to add few new faces to provide a greater strength
in depth and competition for places (something the existing players
themselves were asking for). The lads produced an excellent
performance against a strong and experienced Brislington side with
2 suburb finishes from Conner Hartley and Sam Price. We all know
we need to keep focused and start putting points on the board,
beginning with today’s game! We will be strengthened by the return
of Connor and Charlie Saunders.
Enjoy the game, UP THE STAGS!
