        placed  Brislington,  started  the  game  as  underdogs  but  finished  the  day
        deservedly in the hat for the draw for the 1  round proper of the FA Vase. 2

        stunning strikes from Connor Hartley and Sam Price sealed victory but the margin
        could have been greater with a dominant 1  half performance.

        5mins A & B debutant 17 year old Alfie Cummins, curled narrowly over from 18
        yards. Brislington replied 2mins later with a fierce Ryan Bath shot, forcing a great
        block  from  Joe  Bishop.  11  mins  A&B,  quick  break  leaves  another  debutant
        Johnathon Inverizzi one on one with the keeper, who forced a good save from
        Callum Heal. Then Sam Price and Conner Hartley saw their shots just wide of the
        target.
        18 mins A & B, Inverizzi subtle pass splits the home defence, Hartley narrow
        angled shot beats Heal but crashes against post, bounces out to striker Bradley
        Skidmore who blasts over with the goal begging. 19 mins Brislington, Plummer
        15 yd shot tipped round post by Lewis Coombes.
        25 mins A & B  Hartley brought down in the area, Ref no hesitation , penalty.
        Joe Bishop steps up but blasts well over the bar. 38 mins A & B, skidmore plays
        in Inverizzi, his 20 yd shot curled just wide.
        39  A & B , Sam Thomas clever pass to Hartley, his goal bound effort deflected
        for corner.
        43min s A & B take the lead, Hartely on left wing cuts inside onto his right foot,
        15 yards out curls his shot top right corner.

        Brislington re-organise and press higher to stop A & B playing, Brislington hit
        more long balls up to their 2 target men but Pressy and Bish are up to the task.
        53 m Brisington equalise, Ryan Bath left wing cross, Neikel Plummer, far post,
        peels away from his marker to head into opposite corner, Coombs no chance. 1-1
        57 mins Brisington left back Dunn’s dangerous  cross, finds Asa White, good leap
        but heads wide.The 2 sides are now cancelling each other out, with the home
        side closing down the Stags short passing game, which was so successful in the
        1  half.

        86 mins winner A & B, substitute Joel Bayliss, left wing cross picks out Sam Price
        on edge of the box, his low, brilliantly struck volley rockets into  the bottom right
        corner giving Heal no chance. 1-2. A worthy cup tie winner.
