scored twice for Liskeard along with Amy Hemingway, whilst Helston replied through braces
from Kathryn Barker and Sasha Sparkes. Stef Churchill-Matthews, Kate Finch and Louise
Ilsley accounted for the goals as Feniton won 3-2 against Liverton Utd, for whom Hannah
Drummond and Charlotte Dymond were on target. Nicola Champion and Hayley Ranachan
were the scorers for Saltash Utd as they shared a 2-2 draw with Plymouth Argyle U23,
whose goals came from Wensday Wise and Katelyn Bell.
Southern Region League
Winchester City Flyers lead the opening day table in the Premier Division, Danielle
Cheyney scored twice along with Hannah Chaffey, Bryony Morrell, Sophie Spoor and Emily
Woodhouse in their 6-1 win away to Woodley Utd. Moneyfields meanwhile beat
Eastleigh 3-0 with goals from Natalie Bavister, Emma Pinner and Kim Whitcombe (see
match report). Abingdon Utd edged out Ascot Utd 4-3, despite Sarah Leonard hitting a
hat-trick for the Berkshire team. Ellie White bagged a brace for Oxford City as they finished
level at 2-2 with Abingdon Town, who scored through Abigail King and Elisha Cox.
AFC Stoneham won a high scoring clash 5-3 against Abbey Rangers in Division
One. Alisha Buckingham (2), Madison Payne, Jessica Treweek and Kayden Wood accounted
for Stoneham's goals, whilst Rebecca Burtenshaw, Stephanie Sale and Isobel Saunders were
on target for Abbey. Tia Williams scored both as Woking Ladies opened up by beating
Southampton Women Res 2-0. Bournemouth Sports and New Milton Town shared
eight goals, Ellen Benjamin, Rosie Eden, Becky Miles and Hollie Shaw all scoring for Sports,
and New Milton netting through Anna Fenton (2), Victoria Wardle and Caitlin Youles. Holly
Porter and Eleonora La Gumina were on target for Milton Utd as they drew 2-2 with
Eversley & California, whose replies came from Laura Comerford and an own goal.
West Midlands League
Tamworth recorded an 8-0 victory over Coventry Sphinx in the Premier Division as the
league got underway, Olivia Woolston was on target four times for the Lambs along with Grace
Dickens (2), Portia Badach and Chloe Finn. Courtney Dilger (2), Alicia Bailes, Laura Smith
and Xena Dhillon were the markswomen for Lichfield City as they beat Redditch Utd 5-1.
Abbie Forman, Natasha Miles and Charlotte Harris netted the goals for Coundon Court who
won 3-0 away to City of Stoke. Lye Town won 2-0 against Worcester City, Sian Johnson
and Sunya Salim scoring their goals, and Stourbridge defeated Kidderminster Harriers
by the same scoreline thanks to Alex Nicklin and Cheryl Edwards. Niamh Deasy bagged a
brace along with Abbie Hyland and Imogen Fisher for Sutton Coldfield Town in their 4-3
success away to Crusaders.
AFC Telford Utd are the opening day leaders in Division One North, they scored
seven times without reply past Darlaston Town. Claudia Rudd scored a hat-trick for Telford
along with Jennifer Higgs (2), Jaime Duggan and Tania Prior. Madison Jones also bagged a
hat-trick, for Shrewsbury Town as they defeated Walsall Ladies 7-2, Shannon McShane,
Jessica Walley, Zoe Child and Libby Veitch all joining her on the scoresheet. Shifnal Town
meanwhile won 6-1 against Walsall Wood courtesy of trebles from Jenna Boddison and
Rebecca-Lee Bown. Rebecca Fitzjohn and Macy Isherwood gave Port Vale a 2-1 victory at
Coventry City whilst Jenny Gilbert and Siobhan Hodgetts scored for Sandwell Ladies in
their 2-2 draw with Wyrley Ladies, whose replies came from Rachel Cumberledge and Holly
Meehan.
Sedgley & Gornal Utd notched up the biggest win in Division One South, beating
Rugby Town 4-0 with goals from Arshi Zahoor (2), Nicola Finlay and Rachel Letford. Kitty
Jones (2), Kiran Sangha and Bonnie Mountford were the scorers as Leamington Lions
defeated Westfields Women 4-1, whilst Solihull Sporting were 4-2 victors at Rugby
Borough thanks to a Naomi Melbourne brace, Victoria Cook and Angel Scandrett. Demi-Lee
Rolph, Annie Stanway and Camile Abbotts earned Knowle a 3-1 success at Droitwich Spa
and Cookley Sports beat Kingfisher 3-2, courtesy of an Emily Derrer hat-trick.
