Cheshunt who scored six times without reply past East Bergholt Utd, courtesy of a
Frances Gamble hat-trick, Natasha Smits, Tina Higgs and Chante Mason. Alex Penny and
Georgia Sleep netted the goals as third placed AFC Sudbury won 2-1 at Wodson Park.
Ammarah Ali and Roseanne Shafier were the markswomen for Hutton in their 2-2 draw with
Barking, who scored through Harriet Douglas and Sarah Finch.
London & South East League
Ashley Cheatley was on target twice along with Kalani Peart, Jade Johnson and Alissa Down
as early leaders Ashford Town (Middlesex) won 5-2 away to Saltdean Utd. They lead by
three points from Dartford who were beaten 2-1 by New London Lionesses, for whom
Elizabeth Ashcroft and Samantha Lanza Gabian were on target. Dulwich Hamlet and
Denham Utd both started their seasons by meeting each other and Dulwich triumphed 6-0,
Sophie Manzi scoring four times with Brittany Saylor and Asia Brown adding the others.
Charlotte Cresswell, Gemma Cumby and Milly Penfold accounted for the goals as Aylesford
won for the first time, 3-2 against Millwall Lionesses.
Dulwich Hamlet Res have gone top of Division One North following their 5-3
victory over Hackney, Dorian Senmani Sani bagging with a hat-trick with Kamilla Hjelmsbo
and Ellie Milbourn also on target. They lead the table by two points from Dorking
Wanderers who shared a 1-1 draw with fellow unbeaten side Brentford. Kara McMahon
netted Brentford's goal, with Charlotte Keenan replying. Gabriella Howell, Olivia Watson,
Alanah Clarke-Salter, Miak Keen and Sophie Hendy all got on the scoresheet for Sutton Utd
as they ran out 5-0 winners away to Clapham Utd. Watford Development defeated
Sport London e Benfica 3-1 with goals from Erin Shacklock (2) and Bethia Green, whilst
Abigail Igbavboa netted for Victoire Ladies as they drew 1-1 with Walton Casuals, whose
goal came from Ellie Stalley.
Nicole Baitup scored the only goal of the game for Hastings Utd when they beat
AFC Acorns 1-0 to go three points clear in Division One South. Ashford Ladies moved
above Acorns into second place when scoring twelve times past Phoenix Sports, Rebecca
Wyatt bagged an eight-goal haul along with Rebecca Janes (2), Jodie Harden and Alex
Weston. Newhaven were 2-0 winners over Parkwood Rangers and Welling Utd
defeated Bexhill Utd 7-1 thanks to a Samantha Rowland hat-trick, Grace Laverick (2), Sophie
Hayes and Olivia McGregor.
North East League
Ossett Utd recorded the biggest way on the opening day of the season in the Premier
Division, Eleanor Betteridge and Rowan Treagus each netting twice along with Jordan
Cheetham and Chelsea Schofield as they beat Wallsend Boys Club 6-0. Jess Round
meanwhile scored all four goals for Redcar Town in their 4-2 victory over Wakefield
Trinity and York City were also 4-2 winners over Hartlepool Utd thanks to a Sophie
Tinson hat-trick and Alice Hughes. Harrogate Town won 3-2 against Farsley Celtic, Beth
Jennings and Emma Elliot netting along with an own goal, whilst Laicey Greener, Tiegan
Hutchison and Pavanjot Kaur ensured that Sunderland West End also won by the odd goal
in five at Sheffield Wednesday.
Samantha Garcia scored a hat-trick, with Steph Ord and Shannon Carlin also on the
scoresheet, as Blyth Town opened up by beating Bishop Auckland 5-0 in the Northern
Division. Larissa Burkinshaw was another hat-trick scorer for Boro Rangers in their 3-1
victory over Washington Association. West Allotment Celtic edged out Norton &
Stockton Ancients Res by the odd goal in nine whilst Loren Salkeld and Rachelle Cooley
gave Spennymoor Town a 2-1 victory over Chester-le-Street Utd.
York RI have got off to a fast start in the Southern Division, winning 9-1 away to
Bradford Park Avenue whilst Wakefield Trinity U23 defeated Farsley Celtic
