• Clear and regular communication • In an effort to keep costs as low as
between school and home is vital to
ensure there are no lost/mis
interpreted messages. We encourage
Parents to make contact with the
Communication school, as early as possible, to make
an appointment to discuss any
concerns they may have.
• We have a wonderful pastoral care
system in place with each class group
having daily contact with a Class
Tutor. A Year Head is available for the
year group while in addition, there is a
Deputy Principal with responsibility for
the group also. As the year progresses
and a study routine is in place an
Academic Monitor will meet with
students to assist them achieve their
potential.
• Student care groups Meitheal and
Anam Cara are also available to assist
students make a smooth transition to
their new school environment.

becomes ill a phone call home will
be made and for this reason,
parents/guardians should ensure
that the school has up-to-date
daytime contact numbers.
• Newsletters are issued each Sunday
evening on the website for the
week ahead. These give an
overview of all events and activities
which have taken place or are due
to happen and everyone is
encouraged to keep up to date.
