I listed some of our touring because I wanted to show how busy we were right before everything
just stopped. We were really going and then everything got put on hold. It was really shocking.

I had a friend who did lawn care. I asked him if he had any gardening work and he had tons of
work for me! I was thankful to have work at the time that also helped me pay my bills, but it also
                                                                                made sense because my

to meet me in person. I could
speak with them on the phone
while I was working on their
property and that was the safest

When I was in my 20s, I did a lot
                                                                                of gardening and landscaping. I
had not gardened for a living in
about 20 years. It was nice at

gardens again and do well, I did
not know how long this pandemic was going to last. I finished the gardening season. In the fall I
did remodeling work in that winter. The next garden season came, and I was back to gardening
again, but this season. restaurants were starting to softly reopen with many restrictions and the
venues weren’t hiring full bands. Thankfully I have a one-man band show where I perform
singing, playing a dobro, kick drum and hi-hat. Musically it was an interesting time because I was
not performing with any of my band members.

I really missed playing my music full-time and I missed living my purpose in my life which is to
be an artist and performer. I enjoy bringing great musicians together to entertain our fans. It’s
just great to be back touring finally.

LL: What can your fans look forward to coming up for you?

NS: Besides touring our newest record this year, we will be on the George Thorogood, Canada
tour. I will be part of the Bender Brass with my friend Jimmy Carpenter out of Las Vegas this
summer and fall. We have much more touring coming up to support this release. We just got
back from Florida and had a great time.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to have this interview.
