About Beacon Hill School About Beacon Hill School
Beacon Hill School aims to provide a safe, secure and caring
environment where all our students, irrespective of ability, are
valued as individuals. Our school is a happy place where students
want to come and learn. The staff is made up of dedicated
professionals providing an all-round education of the very highest
quality academically, creatively and socially ensuring that each
child has the opportunity to reach their potential. The students
come to us from over thirty countries and this international mix
adds a great deal to the atmosphere and the richness of the
school experience.
Beacon Hill School was founded in 1967. The school occupies
a well-equipped seven storey building and has classroom space
to accommodate a three form entry – a total of 540 students.
As well as the classrooms, the school has a number of special
purpose rooms that are state
of the art; these include a fully equipped drama and dance studio,
music rooms, Learning Technologies room (called ‘The Cloud’),
art room and library. The school also has a dedicated media
room with ‘green screen’ facilities. Half of the classrooms were
refurbished in the summer of 2017 and the remaining rooms will
be refurbished in the summer of 2018.
