conventional ways and were able to develop the
way they communicate their ideas and their
personalities.
This year at Beacon Hill School we were very
excited to be able to offer students in all year
groups art lessons. Students learned skill
based techniques such as pencil sketching,
pastels, watercolours and acrylic. Teachers
and students were excited and proud to be
able to see their works of art displayed around
the school. These art lessons were a way for
classroom teachers to further their skill set
as they will be on the same learning journey as
their students.
The Arts - This year at Beacon Hill School we also
gave Year 6 students a chance to express
themselves through the art gallery during the
Visual Arts Year 6 exhibition.
Educational Assistants and teachers underwent
training as part of their continued professional
development and PLF sessions. This included
