Excursions, Camps and Visitors Excursions, Camps and Visitors
We believe it is important for our students to
make connections to the wider world and that
is one reason why we have excursions, camps
and visits from people who work beyond the
school. Throughout the year, all our students
are exposed to visits to the theatre or musicians
and performers coming into school. They also
usually have an excursion during each Unit of
Inquiry to engage their interest. Our Year 4,
5 and 6 students also have swimming lessons
for part of the year, taught by qualified ESL
instructors. Students in Years 3 to 6 went on
the following camps:
Year 6 Camp
Outward Bound, Sai Kung (5 days, 4 nights)
Year 5 Camp
Lei Yue Mun, HK Island (4 days, 3 nights)
Year 4 Camp
Cheung Chau (3 days, 2 nights)
Year 3 Camp
Sai Kung (2 days, 1 night)
These camps allow the students to challenge
themselves and to develop teamwork skills
Excursions, Camps which are proving to be increasingly important
in today’s world. The Year 3s used their Camp
as a first opportunity to spend a night away
and Visitors from home with their school friends. Thank
you to all the staff who spent their own time
preparing the camps to ensure they are safe,
educational and fun and for volunteering to
accompany the students on camp.
